HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
or should I say Happy Birth-month? You know my DD-IL-KC loves to celebrate her B-day. I hope she has a nice one and spoils herself.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Hope my DS-JL had a good day at work and a wonderful time at dinner. I just love their chopped salad. I hope our rendition of Happy Birthday and the Wiggle song set the stage for a good day. Did anyone make a funfetti cake? Love you and miss you lots!

Good Saturday
Spent a very busy day, started by making breakfast for BB, BL & KC. BB took BL to get his car inspected, then we went back and bought a new SUV for BB (we will pick it up on Tues). I call it instant replay. Same car, same color for the next 39 months. Didn't like any of the other colors. Took a trip to Steinmart (BB calls it the Jewish Walmart), out to lunch, back home cut down branches from the oak tree, planted 3 azaleas and a holly bush, cooked dinner made chocolate chip cookies (refrigerator kind), talked to G-ma and now I need to make a card for Ang. Did manage to get a picture of KC's birthday card before I gave it to her. Tomorow is the K&K show. At least today was fun!
KC's card was made with 1 sheet of 12 x 12 double sided paper. It was cut to 9.5 x 12 and folded to create 2 pockets. I cut the tags from the leftover paper.
Just an early Happy Birthday Eve to my DS-JL. Hope you had a good dinner tonight, talk to you in the AM. Love you all and miss you!

I'm BAAAACK
Not that I have done any crafting. My hands are a little full right now. Hopefully I will be able to post some b-day cards soon. I also need a baby card, shower card, sympathy card and thank you note. Then come the May b-days and graduations and mothers' day. Made CA reservations tonight. Very long and arduous process, nothing is ever simple. Congrats to my DD who is being very creative, how about my DDIL-KL? Looking forward to seeing your new stuff. I know you've been to Archivers!!!! Miss you all!

To clarify...
The dark pink layer shows behind the light pink layer and the printed cardstock layer. It not only borders it at the top and bottom, but when the book is open the front two layers stand away from the pink layer and you can see the whole dark pink page. Should I stamp the dark pink layer with a versamark ink and a background stamp, or will it be too much? You know I have a hard time with blank space. Is that clearer than mud?
Star Book, need opinion
The first is the book open. Right now it is being held with paperclips. The last is the front & back cover which need to also be glued on. The question is should I put a background stamp on the dark pink layer? When you see it IRL you can look down the top and see the blank page. Would it look overdone or does it now look unfinished?
