Birthday Card

This is the birthday card for GMa. I used a transparency over the pink stamped with flowers and cut the scroll from cricut. We had fun in AC but on the way home had to explore south jersey because the Walt Whitman Bridge was closed for 4 hours due to a hostage situation. A man was holding his girlfriend and 1 year old son on the bridge at gunpoint and with a bat. It turns out the gun was plastic and the girlfriend is also under arrest because she wasn't be held against her will. Only in Philly!!!!

Happy Birthday to You!

It's a big day, no work and we're on our way to AC to celebrate. BB is sorting through the Trop flyers that they send. BB has 10.00 and free parking, the birthday girl has multiple offers, and I haven't made the mailing list. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be talking to you all later.

It was a Happy Easter!

What a wonderful weekend for me, thanks to all the people I love the most making it home. And I have the leftovers too!!!!!

Just a note

Got a slow start this morning, got to work and there was no power for about 30 minutes, so now I don't feel like working. Hope everyone in C-town is feeling better! Had a nice time with Gma last night. Went to a Joanne's Superstore in Quakertown. My DD knew it was there but never shared. Had a fish sandwich at Wendy's and then went to Walmart. Nothing but high end for us! Then the dilema...Idol, Big Brother and Dancing with the Stars all overlapped. Could only DVR 2 shows and watch one of those!!!!! I spent the night watching commercials as I swapped between the shows. Such stress!!!!!!!

Sun PM

We just got back from Etown and I have the payroll to write, and big brother to watch, but I wanted to thank J&H for a delicious meal and a lovely time. Maybe next time H can win at cards. He sooooo tried to be Portuguese and cheat, maybe next time.... Gma says the place is lovely, so I guess J&H can continue living there. B (not to be confused with BB) also was very comfortable and enjoyed her stay...I hope she can return again. I don't mean to say that BB wasn't very comfortable also. H very graciously allowed him to watch Nascar, fed him and let him sit in the prime sofa spot. Good ending to a Sun, especially since we went to the K&K show this morning.

It's the weekend...

Mixed feelings about the weekend. Happy because GMa is arriving today, but it is also the K&K Show weekend. At least after that ordeal we get to see J&H. They invited us for dinner on Sun.
